Student dismissal notes need to be delivered to the attendance window before the start of the school day. If your student has an appointment during the day, please write a note explaining the reason he/she is leaving and the time the student will be picked up. Activities interfering with education, pursuit of knowledge, or fair evaluation of a student’s performance are prohibited. Be sure to check the school calendar prior to making travel arrangements or purchasing tickets. Absences from school to extend holidays are discouraged. After three school days, notes may not be accepted and the absences may be deemed unexcused. on the day the student returns to school. Notes should be given to the attendance office before 9:00 a.m. Notes from a doctor may be submitted in lieu of a parent note.
